But this is the easy one with a range of new lighting options. - It is more energy efficient to use a small electric appliance like a "frypan" to cook a roast than to use the oven - check which heats the kitchen most. - Share the car. - Road rage uses much more fuel than calmer driving habits.

Read on the latest reports about energy saving and be proactive. - Educate young children on the effects of wasting energy and goods and be an example that they can follow. - Think green. Make planting a part of your family's activities. Join organizations that have programs to plant trees. This is also a good way of involving and educating children. - Be careful of how much green matter you send to landfill - it breaks down to release more methane to the atmosphere. Think Green, reduce waste, and go for a "grumpy" walk every day before leaving home and going to bed. Turn off everything that is not essential.
