A person that has just started her adventure with gardening and garden decor and is about to arrange the garden by herself might not be so enthusiastic at first. The garden will be our own special place that's why we should start from analazying our needs and expectations. We have to think earlier about the usage of the garden. It's worth to take a piece of technical paper, write all the suggestions and draw the elements that already exist in the garden.

Next step is to give a sample of soil to a laboratory and than create a base of plants with a short notice about all of them. It's worth to divide those plants into groups like grass, herbs, trees, flowers or even into more specified groups. From a set like that we will choose only the plants that we are willing to use in our garden.

When designing the garden it is important to think also about the style of it. Many designers are inspired by a new fashion and forgeting about the old trends in garden decorating. That's why most of contemporary gardens look very similar - have a small pond, rocks, grass and a few plants that can be bought from online catalogues.

Their similar look gives us a little thinking. When living in a big city the garden might be the only space that connects us with the nature and peaceful time. It's also the place where we could get back to traditional elements like for example plants - not the exotic one. It's even more worth it - such plants are easier to take care of, cheaper and widely accessible.

Such traditional garden is called a rustic one. The character that describes it is homely and easy climate. Gardens that are arranged in this style are usualy surounded by wooden fence or a fence from a solid rock what emphasise its natural character.

Most important in style of rustic garden is to buy...very common flowers that can be found everywhere. In rustic gardens there are plenty of colorful flowers. We can also find there small corners to spend a quiet and peaceful time with the person we love. All serve to create a space that brings us back times where everything was simpler and natural.

It's worth to make a space like that in our surounding and have a spend a beautiful moments there.
